Hot Air Balloon

I want to ride in a hot air balloon! Watching the sunrise in the hot air balloon is so nice. If I have the chance, I would LOVE to go up on that ride. :D Nice experience. Beautiful scenery. Heh Heh. And I'm pretty sure I'll spend big bucks on this ride. But oh well, I'm just saying. 

And this, this was this morning. Pinkish sky. See the netting? I was lazy to stand up and take it from the other side of my window (the hot air balloon picture). Hence, nettings in this picture. Heh Heh.

The draft timetable for final exam is already out. And I got shit timetable this time. Starting from 15 and ending on the 24th. 

15th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 24th.

Tell me now, shit or no shit. The last 3 papers is killing me. 3 papers in 4 days. Got to plan my study timetable asap and start revising as this is my last semester here in Latrobe. GOD HELP ME!

HAD AN AWESOME NIGHT YTD! Lady gaga's concert ROCKSSS! Though I waited for like more than 1 hour. The special guest, no comment, not my type of music I'd say. They're a band from New York, Semi Precious Weapons. 

Best song of the night was Bad Romance! and it's the last song of the night. Everybody got up and singing with her. It was a very very 'HIGH' moment! Really the best song of the night. Thank god I downloaded some of her other songs few weeks ago. And I just start listening to it. ahaahha Or else, I only know a few songs from her concert. Dance in the dark, Alejandro, Speechless, Monster, Beautiful Dirty Rich are very new to me. And guess what, I listened to all these songs in the morning b4 i go out to city for the concert. AHAHHAHA

And of cos, she performed Pokerface, Love Game, Just Dance, Paparazzi and BAD ROMANCE! wuhoo! She didn't performed Eh Eh (nothing else I can say) though. Her outfits was wow. Very lady gaga. XD Overall, It's a very very nice concert. The best one I've been to so far. I have alot pictures to edit before I uploaded it to FB. So, for now, I shall give u guys a sneak preview. :)

Easter Break is approaching, 1 week break. I'm excited! why? I'm going to watch Lady Gaga this 9th April. wuhoo! But then, I have a presentation coming up right after the break. :( Sucks weh

Anyhoo, I went city last week. Passed by Union Lane,  the canvas for the City of Melbourne's Street Art Project. The graffiti there is very nice. :) Love the colours.

I always passed by this lane, but I never stop by and take photos, not until last sunday. XD Melbourne's weather is getting cold now. This is what I call autumn. It felt like I'm in malaysia for the past month when it's suppose to autumn. *tsktsk* 

Easter break is coming which means there will be lotsa pictures taken. hahahha and makan too. I'll gain weight during this break for sure. Gah! Alrighty, stop here for now.

No, not Melbourne. This time it's in Perth. The hailstones there are not big as the one on Melbourne. It almost felt like 2012 is really happening. haha. Anyhoo, sorry for not updating often. Many stuffs happened for the past week.

And recently, I got a bad sore throat. My voice is really really bad now. my voice is now very manly. I really scared ppl talk to me cos I really dont want to talk to them with my voice like this. My sister asked me to record myself singing with this voice -_________- Didnt drink enough water when my sister's here. And now i got sore throat, she got ulcer. AHAHHAHA.

I bought cough syrup and this. Throat Spray. LMAO. 

GAH. when will my voice be okay? It's been 3 days now! T.T

I bet you people already know what happened here in Melbourne yesterday. I bought the papers today and it said it's the worst storm ever in 40 years. It was a scary yet fun experience really.

I was at the Moomba Festival with my friends. Dark clouds all over city sky and then raindrops starts falling bit by bit and the raindrops became hailstones. Seriously, it was scary at the time. We just stood in front of the game stall and use our bags to cover our faces. Then later 3 of us ran over to another stall with a little roof and just stood there while another 3 of my friends hid under the table at the 1st stall. We were called to go behind where all the toys are placed under the bridge. There were many people hiding there and we all held the waterproof plastic up.

I got hit on the head, hands, legs, back, everywhere basically. Not my face though. hahaha. And I was wearing lady sandals. We were all standing in the icy cold water. I could not feel my feet, really. My other 3 friends soon later joined us and suggested that we ran to get a better place to hide since we're all wet. And yea, we ran, in the ice cold water. We ran all the way to Federation Square and I was shocked to see small part of the ceiling came off and landed on the book stalls below. But thank god nobody was hurt.

Man it was crazy I tell you! But then, like I said, nice experience :) But I don't want it to happen again. Look at all the damages! I got a few bruises and so do my friends. One of my friend's leg was bleeding, not too serious though. He was wearing jeans and he still bleed! The size of the hailstone is no joke, golf ball size! But it was bigger in some other places, tennis ball size. Can you imagine how scary it was!

Look at the size of that thing, this is consider medium size already. There are bigger ones.

They even did so much damage on cars.

Parts of the city roads were flooded. Mad I tell you.

Thank god I'm okay. Nothing happen to us. I tried calling home but couldn't get through. Only my sister though. AHAHA.

The weather is going to be pretty bad these few days. It rained very heavy this evening and one of tower in my hostel flooded. Not very serious one. Alarms everywhere. @.@ Totally chaos!

It's been a week now. Everything's good. =) Just that it's been a lil quiet cos some of my friends moved out. But that's okay. XD Ahhh, uni's been a.. a.. *sigh* I dont know how to concentrate during lectures. China man, Korean lady and African man. Their english is.. I think you know. mygod! how to concentrate. *sigh*

My timetable for this semester is quite good. I'm off on Wednesdays and Fridays! HOORAYYY!

I'm in denial now! I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT PLACE YET! At least not now. I'm still enjoying myself in my home sweet home. I know I can't be like this forever but it's too fast! It's like a blink of an eye, and *poof* I'm already going back to that place. This sucks. *sigh* This is because I enjoyed too much and time flies! I STILL WANT TO RELAX! Totally not ready for classes to resume. Plus, I'm not sure when I'll be back this year. It all depends how am I doing in this semester, yes, my LAST semester. I seriously need all the luck I could get! BREAK A LEG! so they say. It all comes down to 2 assumption

1. I pass everything and graduation ceremony in OCT 2010. Find a job or further my studies (Masters or another degree * I don't know*) If I really in this plan, I'm not sure when are the holidays cos masters program have different school holidays compared to degrees hence, no more seeing Sue Ling end of every year =( But then again, all this are just assumptions. If I find a job, that's if I can, I don't think I will be applying so many offs just to go back and holiday. I mean, It's different now. No more 3 months break.

2. *touchwood* I can't graduate on time. (means I failed la *touchwood*) I have to retake in the 2nd semester and work my arse off to pass it. Then, the graduation ceremony will be in APRIL 2011. If that's the case, I'm not so sure I can go back end of the year. Why? you ask me.. That's because the graduation ceremony is in April which is like about 5 months away after I completed. Don't tell me I go back Malaysia and do nothing and then come back again JUST FOR the ceremony. It's a waste of money, but I REALLY REALLY don't want to spend the summer there. I really hope I can go back malaysia because it's FREAKING 40 DEGREES end of the year! and my hostel room dont have a FAN in the room. I could suffocated from the heat to death. Trust me, you don't want to spend the summer in Aussie.

I need to buck up this semester, seriously. Every semester I will say this to myself, STUDY HARDER! But obviously, same old same old. *slaps self!* WHOA, There's so many words in this post. It's been awhile since I type a long post without pictures. I don't think anybody would read this. Who cares right. Well, it's just a piece of my mind now really. *sigh* I really hope I can do well this semester. I'm scared.

On another note, I've just finish packing my luggage, well almost. I think it's about 80% done. And I'm pretty sure it will be overweight by alot! Have to get ready some cash beforehand. Just incase. 20kgs is not enough! 20kgs sounds alot but it's not! really, trust me! I came back last semester with 3/5 luggage filled and it's already 22kgs! And now, it's going to be 5/5. Air Asia is so going to get alot money from me. And I'm going to get it from my parents.

Okay, I need to stop typing and sleep now. It's going to be 3 already. Oh shi-, 34 hours to go! Goodnight world.

Back from visiting relatives just now.

This year's CNY was so-so. Not too good, not too bad. Boleh-lahhh. Spent 1 night in Penang and 1 night in Taiping. The amount of money in the ang paos is satisfying. =D And I'm still waiting for more *chia, hint hint* Every year, we, the cousins, will play fire crackers, of course we only play those small kids level cos some of them still young. Only Penangites and Taiping-ites sell fireworks OPENLY. The police station is just 2 roads down opposite the house selling fireworks in penang. *tsktsk*

On the first day of CNY, we always go to Queensbay mall for a walk before lunch. And this time, we went 'The Streams' again, for fish spa. I managed to soak my feet in, in the first 5 minutes compared to last year- I took 30minutes HAHAHA. *self praise* There were many fishes nibbling on my dead skin.@.@ My sister's and mum's only had a few on them. GAH!

We head to Taiping after lunch and spent a night there. We meet again in the kampung the next morning where my dad's family used to live. I missed those times when we stay in my grandma's old house. She sold the house already though. Good times. =)

After that, we went back home and gambled awhile, Blackjack. Only my sister and grandfather didnt play. I only lost 2bucks. hahhaha. Grandma lost rm25, my dad got most of the winnings. We went to Taiping Lake for some photography sessions after that. The weather killed me. I was sweating all over. Why is it so hot on every Chinese New Year? WHY?!

In less than a month, everything is going to be same old same old. University, classes, tutorials, assignments, finals- Gotta work REALLY hard this semester and graduate in time *fingers crossed* I'm not really looking forward to go back to Melbourne. Who does? :( The fact that I have to UNPACK 4 BOXES really really potong my stim. Alot of cleaning to do. Rearranging, I hate rearranging. I love packing though, just throw everything in the box :) Not just 4 boxes, I still have my luggage and handcarry. On the bright side, I get to see my friends over there and maybe get to see and know new faces :) Hopefully I'm gonna get nice floormates.

On another note, in about 1 week, I'm going to attend my friend's wedding! Super duper excited. The gate-crashing, the games- all that fun! In the mean time, all the jimuis must gather together and come out with a master plan for the gate-crashing game. wooots!

A must have thing every Chinese New Year- Kuih Kapit, also known as Love Letters.

My mum and I made that today. Actually it's my mum doing all the work. I just sit on the floor with a fan facing me and just fold the Kuih Kapit-Love Letters into quarters. =) Spent about 4-5 hours doing Kuih Kapit and my mum just made half of the original recipe. Imagine if we do a whole recipe, the time will be doubled! We started at around 9-ish and finish at about 2-ish. Thank god the weather today wasn't THAT hot.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hope you guys celebrate Xmas with loads of fun. I know I did, with a Wii session in my house with Chuilynn and Chingy. AHAHA. *psst, ching, your video is in my sis's phone* we went Yeolde English for dinner and Secret recipe cake for dessert! yums. And we head back to my house to play.

Had fun having all the chitchats and gossips. And certainly had fun watching Chingy playing Wii. HAHAHAHA

It was that day, I saw my dad took the ladder outside. Then, I heard my dad asked my brother to take torchlight.. And after that, he ask to bring knife. I was wondering what on earth he is doing with all those things. My dad, brother and mum was outside, while I was glued to my laptop, ignoring them. Then my mum ask me to bring a basin. Turns out that the roof of my porch had bee hive inside. But the bees flew away days ago, I guess. My dad dug out all the honeycombs out. Some were filled with honey, some dried up.

On another note, this year's christmas is a quiet one. Everyone's not around. Well, most of them. But it's okay, I stayed at home marinade turkey. (My dad bought one and asked me to marinade, I hope the turkey will taste good =S) Both my sis and me baked apple pies too! HAHAHA What a way to celebrate Xmas eve.

Plans for tmr night is.. JENG JENG JENG~ It's time for WII! Okay, not an ideal way to celebrate Christmas, but at least we're enjoying ourselves. And besides, I get to meet up with Chingy and Chui Lynn! HOHOHO. Alrighty then, I shall stop here. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Susu is going to MIA again.
